Health & Safety - COVID-19

This page of our website is dedicated to giving students up to date information on DoJang activities and responses to the current COVID-19 concerns. Our number one priority is the health and safety of our students, their family's and our community.

 

March 28th update:

(1)Shelter in place order is set to expire Friday 4-3-2020. We plan to resume classes once the mandate is lifted.

(2)Our streaming schedule for the week of March 30th has been posted to our Google Calendar as well as our Facebook page.

(3) Join our exclusive online LIVE training platform: Kuk Sool Won of Clear Lake Streaming Classes.

 

March 24th update:

(1)All classes have gone to LIVE streaming since our county has been placed on mandatory shelter in place.

(2)Streams are in full swing and have been getting exceptional reviews!

(3)We have made a new Facebook Group for streaming training and classes. You must request access to the group and be approved. March 17th update:

(1)All demos for the month of March have been postponed.

(2)We have decided to postpone PNO scheudled for the 21st as well as the Youth Black Belt Training. New dates will be given soon.

(3)We have made a new Facebook Group for streaming training and classes. You must request access to the group and be approved. Classes the week of March 16th - Full scheudle, all classes will take place with the following precautions:

  1. Until further notice, we ask everyone to refrain from shaking hands. A bow is all that is needed, fist bumps and elbow taps may be substituted.

  2. We have increased our sanitizing procedures from daily to hourly. We will sanitize the practice floor and all touched surfaces every class.

  3. All students are asked to wash their hands before and after classes. Instructors are required to wash hands before, after, and during every class as frequently as possible.

  4. To comply with "Social Distancing" we will not be practicing techniques with a partner. We will be focusing on forms, drills, and other aspects of training not requiring direct physical contact at least for the next couple of weeks.

  5. Any student not feeling well is asked to stay home and not attend classes. We will work with anyone missing classes due to this health concern with a make-up classes.

  6. Testing this weekend: We will hold testing as scheduled, however, we will forgo the demonstration of techniques with a partner while "Social Distancing" protocols are in place.
