Amazing Adult Program: Our adult program is fantastic. The average martial art school in the US is only about 20% adults, our school is close to 50% adults! There are a number of reasons why we stand out. First, we have adult classes. You will not be training with a bunch of little kids. Although there may be kids on the floor, the training area is physically separated with room dividers and each class has their own instructor. Second, our instructors are pros with adults. We know just how hard to push you to improve without a high risk of injury. Finally, we understand your goals and we help you to achieve them.
Fitness: Exercise is one of the biggest reasons adults join our program. Many of us are sedentary during the day and it is easy to let become out of shape. Many adults try to hit the gym, run, or do something similar just to find it is boring and difficult to stay committed to. Martial arts on the other hand, is much better for the body than the gym, running, or any other physical activity because it is full body, very little impact, and the best part is the motivation! You'll be surrounded by positive people all encouraging each other. You'll be setting defined short and long-term goals that will help you keep track of your progress.
Flexibility & Strength: Neck starting to hurt? How about your back, or knees? Like anything with moving parts, if you don't work them they start to degrade and freeze up. Each class move all our joints, stretch each muscle, and strengthen our ligaments and tendons. Martial arts are truly a full body workout. You'll be amazed at how much better you feel after each class and the days that follow. Many aches and pains get better when you exercise correctly.
Dealing with injuries: You usually don't become an adult without a few bumps and bruises along the way. Many of our adult students work around injuries such as knee issues, back problems, shoulder and wrist injuries and anything else you could possibly think of. A good rule of thumb is if you can walk up and down stairs and lightly jog, you are probably just fine to being our program. If you injury does limit certain movements, no problem, modify or substitute is our motto. Still not sure, give us a call, let talk about.

It is widely though that Martial Arts is just for kids, that couldn't be further from the truth. We have dozens of students who are over 50 years old and dozens more over 60! Our oldest active student is current 75. Tomorrow you'll be older than today so what are you waiting for?
